About St Augustine College of South Africa

Founded in 1999, St Augustine is a respected provider of quality, values-based, tertiary education. Apart from registration with the South African Department of Higher Education and Training, St Augustine is canonically recognised as a Catholic ‘university’ by both the South African Catholic Bishops’ Conference (SACBC) and the Congregation for Catholic Education in the Vatican. All of the degrees and certificates that it offers are accredited by the Council on Higher Education (CHE) and the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). Inspired by the Catholic Intellectual Tradition, the mission of St Augustine is to produce graduates who have learnt ‘to think rigorously, so as to act rightly and to serve humanity better’.
